Beer and Coffee? Is Paleo effective? Looking like an A & P Poster Child!!!

Another between Meal Meal....

Soft Boiled Egg
Ripe Banana
Avocado
All of the above salted and peppered liberally...
Then add
Blueberry Almonds
Roasted Salted Sunflower Seeds
And mix.

Incredible Energy Booster with none of the letdown after effects of those heavy carb snacks!!

Eat this about an hour and a half before a workout and you'll feel like a Gladiator going to Battle during your Workout!!


Building another 6 minute Paleo Meal with a bed of

Sweet Leaf Spring Mix
Ripe Tomato
Drizzled with First Cold Pressing Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Fig Infused Balsamic Vinegar
Heavy on the Salt, Pepper and Cayenne and toss!


A 4 oz fillet of Salmon seasoned with my African - Moroccan Spice Mix
4 - 6 oz thin cut Jalapeno Seasoned Thin Cut Chicken Breast (both from HEB)

That's a minimum of 40 g of Protein laying there and not more than 400 calories!!


Mate with a Creatine - Fresca - Sangria mix and you've got a Post Workout Supper that will put the Hammer and Chisel to sculpting your body while you're sleeping.

Seriously - when you wake up in the morning and look in the morning you will see a Bigger, Leaner You than went to bed...

And for you women out there, don't be afraid of a little muscle.... 

I work out with some Female Beasts at CrossFit WMD and when they walk into the Box from work in their street clothes, I have to pick my jaw off the floor because they are incredible looking!!!

A Lean and Muscular Women's Physique is another of God's Gift to Man!



Don't know who this lady is but gotta say, she's got that Marilyn Monroe thing going on....

And that's a Good Thing....

Another Sign that God loves us!!!


Was talking with a friend of mine named KC at Family Fitness.... hadn't seen her for a while.... so she hadn't seen me for a while.... that's how that works.

Anyway, she made a comment that I took as a real complement.... she was commenting on how I looked and said....

"You look like a picture from an A&P (Anatomy & Physiology) book."

I thought about that for a minute....

So when I was in one of the tanning rooms at the Sun Hut, I snapped a few pics to try to illustrate what she was saying....

And to illustrate what a disciplined Paleo diet and varied and intense exercise does to your body - in this case - a 52 year old body.

I realize that a lot of people will read this post and look at these pics and say "Geez - this guy is full of himself" - 

Which is true... but besides the point.

One of the main reasons I post these types of pics is to document my progress publicly but more importantly, to show those interested enough to be reading this blog, what is possible and attainable with simple diet and exercise WITHOUT the use of Performance Enhancing Drugs!

Again.... at 52 years of age!



Yes - those are veins running down the inside of my thigh and into my calves (gastrocnemius) and soleus (muscle below the gastrocnemius).

This is one of the best ways to determine your body fat level.... 

When you get to the point that the vascularity is showing through the subcataneous skin, you know you're getting close to a minimum body fat level.

As I was losing weight over the past few months, people kept asking me - 

How much weight are you gonna lose?

What weight are you trying to get to?

Or some people said.... "You've lost enough weight".

Incidentally, they said this at 180.... 175.... 170... and 165....

And at each question or comment, I would reply with....

"Don't know what weight is right - My body will tell me that!" 

These pics have me at about 168 - 169....

With good muscle size, separation and vascularity.... the way a man's body is supposed to look....

Yes - I said that!  We've become so accustomed to seeing Men 15, 25, 50 or 100 pounds or more overweight that we view Men with Lean, Muscular physiques as freaks or anomalies.... 

Whatever - I like the way I look and that's what counts - to me anyway.

My body has told me based on the the aforementioned conditions that I'm pretty close to a minimum bodyfat / maximum muscularity level....

You see....

If you listen to your body.... and don't drown it / cloak it / cover it up in fat and debilitating weight and Bad Food.... your body will...

Talk to You and Tell You....

What it Needs...

What is Good for It...

Getting to this point at this point in my life is quite probably the Greatest DISCOVERY I've ever made....

And I'm not even close to finding the limits yet...

Which is what this blog and this LIFE is all about!
