Today's WOD and Post Workout Meal


Jerk was the strength exercise!


And the WOD was a 10 minute EMOM - Every Minute On the Minute - so if you get done with the 3 floor to overhead presses and 10 wall balls before the minute is up, you get to rest and then start over every 60 seconds for 10 sets total - thus a 10 minute EMOM.


I had 4 misses on the 10 sets, i.e. didn't finish my Wall Balls on the last 4 sets.

Counts as a miss but I was close with 8,5,6,8 on the miss sets.

The 205# Beast - MG I was working out with only had 1 miss.

Again, I'm just happy to be completing the workouts.

After that fast and furious WOD, I needed an equally fast and furious post workout meal.

Pork chop and veggies - I grilled the pork chop 4 minutes on each side and threw salt and peppered asparagus, poblano and Serrano peppers, red bell pepper and squash in with it.

Give the veggies a drizzle of red balsamic and a final dusting of salt as you take them out.

A 10 minute 1 skillet Paleo meal...
