It be Cold and Snowy but Me and Kid Rock and Trader Joe's got this!

Yesterday morning...... Cold and Snowy!

Hard to tell in that pile but there's 2 eggs over medium, a ground turkey breast patty and a Spring Mix with carrots and radishes.

A view of the patio after 2 days of snow....

My bike had a flat so I took the car to a noon Zumba class at Anytime Fitness.

Sweet Potato, Kale and Ground Turkey Breast with a Sweet Onion side..

And a Bowl of Green Chile Stew with Pork on the side...

And this morning, it was COLD and CLEAR....

Changed the tube on the flat and went out to meet the snow on the Rail Trail to Anytime Fitness.

Yep.... Only God knows why I ride a bike in 16 degree temps on snow and ice covered bikeways in Santa Fe NM....

Guess I still got a little bit of Savage left in me....

Made a run to TJ's last night to restock with all the Basic Elements of my Paleo Plan which includes....

Spring Mix, Tomatoes, Radishes, Carrot sticks....

Jalapeno Chicken Sausage and Turkey Bacon...

With the Sweet Potatoes on deck and ready for the oven...

Now that's a pretty plate with some generous sprigs of Fresh Basil on the side.....

I love Fresh Basil and eat it like salad!

The Main Thing in Life is just Keep Rollin'..... No matter what.... Don't give up....

Sooner or later, the World will just get tired of knocking you down and move on to an easier target!

You know my feelings on this subject....

Gotta have one of these just once in your life....

Sweet Potatoes - an Easy and Nutritious Solution to a Sweet Tooth in a Paleo Diet.

After baking at 400 for an hour, these babies are sweet and creamy and most importantly are a Slow Release Carb so they won't screw up your blood sugar levels like a regular potato.

It's a perfect sweet and savory between meal treat or carbo load before a workout or a side to a protein in a major meal!
