Hey Wills.... I'm hungry So what's for lunch?

Whadduya say we put that Ground Turkey Breast Mix we made yesterday to good use?

Form ya a big pattie of the mix and put it in a dry hot cast iron skillet....

Was talking with a couple of folks I met at Anytime Fitness this morning.... Nova and Aaron.... about my Paleo diet and use of a cast iron skillet... I called it a Southern Wok.... for cooking most of my meals....

And here's a good example... No oil... Hot Skillet....Lean Protein with a lot of good veggies in the mix...

What's not to like about that combo?


And a good base of Spring Mix, Tomato, Shredded Carrots and thin-sliced radishes...


Add some diced yellow squash and a boiled egg...


Flip the Turkey patty.....see how that hot skillet sears the meat..... giving it that good texture on the outside and keeping it moist on the inside.


Throw the turkey mix in with the salad and veggies, add some balsamic and EVOO and a generous dusting of salt and pepper and Trader Joe's 21 Spice Salute....

And you just rocked an incredible Paleo Meal that will restore and build your body and keep you alert and sharp for a good 3 - 5 hours...


Just like making the Turkey Mix yesterday for today's and future meals, you gotta think ahead and prep accordingly sooooooo.....

Here I'm throwing a bag of sweet potatoes onto a foiled oven tray after washing and poking some holes in them.


They'll go into a 400 degree oven for 45 mins to an hour and provide some great slow release carbs for meals for the next 3 days.

You see how easy it is to eat right?

As I told Aaron and Nova at the gym, you can work out till you blow yourself up, but until you get the diet right, it'll be difficult to get the Body and Mind you've always been wanting.

Think about it.....
