What an Amazing, Mind Blowing, Mind Expanding Experience the Van Gogh Museum was.
Spent far longer in there than I should have and not nearly as long as I wanted.
Saw works from....
Emile Bernard, Paul Gauguin, Paul Cezanne, Henri de Toulose-Lautrec, Claude Monet, Camille Jacob Pisarro, Eduardo Manet, Georges Seurat, Alfred Sisley, Gustave Caillebotte, Paul Signac, Meijer de Haan, Maurice de Vlaminck, Alexej Von Jawlensky, Kees van Dongen, Odilon Redon, Pierre Puvis de Chavannes, Franz Von Stuck, Louis Anquetin, Edouard Vuillard, George Minne, Jules Cheret, Ikeda Eisen, Maurice Denis...
And that was just from the 3rd floor. This place has almost half of Van Gogh's original works plus most of his letters to his brother Theo and an incredible display of art from the life of Van Gogh and beyond.
Like many of the things I've seen in Europe, it was a moving and emotional experience.
