More Discovery of North Richland Hills

As I ride west (remember that theme) I can't help but wonder and imagine what it was like here back in the early to mid 1800s when Buffalo and Indians roamed these plains and cattle were driven to the Ft Worth stockyards along many of the routes now marked by major highways. As I said before, Mother Nature gives up her bounty grudgingly and you can still see signs of the frontier days in the undeveloped sections of land and "ranchettes" that checkerboard the landscape with the subdivisions. It is truly a study of Past vs Present and as I ride my 2 wheeled Mule through this battle of eras I have mixed emotions about the inevitable consumption of this landscape by humankind.
