So here's the deal - I'm from Texas - the Gulf Coast of Texas - so Mexican Food is like a staple. And Mexican Food can be spicy and besides that I eat fresh (No - Not pickled - fresh like off the bush) jalapeños all the time probably 3 - 4 a day. No problem. I love them.
So when I come to a Thai restaurant - which is supposed to be spicy by nature - and I tell them I want it Very Spicy - that's 3 red squares on this menu I'm expecting it to be hot and spicy.
Food was excellent - I had mixed meat and vegetable fried noodle with an egg on top. And I finally got it to the right spice level after I dumped all the red pepper flake and red chili sauce they gave me in the pile of food and mixed it in.
Hey Amsterdam - this is Texas talking - when I say hot and spicy I want to be belching fire and shitting brimstone for 3 days. So anyway that was my experience at the Kinnaree - great food - a little pricy and safe on the spice.
