It Finally Caught Up with Me....

I am really tired!
I guess after 2 - 70 hour weeks of work and a 120
hour week of play, my Body, Mind and Spirit finally said Enough is Enough so you know what I said to my B-M-S?
STFU and Hang On cause this is the Last Day of the European Experience and we're gonna suck the last drop of life out of it.
I've been walking around for about 3 hours by the tree lined canals of Amsterdam and through Vondelpark and the Museum District. I have pics of all that but will save them for posting later. I've also taken a lot of pictures of different bicycles and
people cycling. In the Netherlands, cycling is not just sport and recreation, it is a Way of Life and Primary Transportation. Over 60% of the
population cycle daily and the bikes and city streets are built for that. I'll show you what I'm talking about later.
Right now, I'm sitting at the Small Talk Coffee Corner on the intersection of Van Baerlestraat and Willemspark Weg.

And I'm just watching Amsterdam life go by...

While I'm having a cup of coffee and bowl of goulash.

Ok - so maybe I slowed down a little.
But I have some shopping to do and it ain't gonna be easy cause things are a lot more expensive here than in Germany but you know where there's a Willyum there's a Wayyum!

  1. Looks like Amsterdam has not changed since I've been in 11 yrs ago. People are tall and fit. Cycling is a way of life and ordinary form of transportation. The business like restaurants have outdoor seating.
