I just completed my Most Difficult Task...

Of the ENTIRE TRIP!
Shopping for my Wife and Daughter!
I was having a hard time because the prices at the shops I was going to were way high but I stopped to talk to this Beautiful Older Lady about her fold up bike which is an easy way to start a conversation with someone in Amsterdam - you know - start talking about bikes.
We talked about bikes and vacations and their summer home in Venezuela and my ALWAYS summer and only home in Texas and then her tall, handsome, distinguished looking husband walked up.
And we started talking more about bikes and commercial real estate in Amsterdam which he was into which was probably why he had a home in Venezuela and St Martin VI and God knows where else.
I mean these are obviously rich people and we're standing there shooting the shit like we're old drinking buddies or something. Did I tell you this place and it's people were great or what?
So anyway I tell them the problem I'm having shopping and what I'm looking for and like the nice Amsterdam folks they are they reel off about 3 places that are fashionable and moderately priced and mark them on my map.
Thanks God... For making nice people like this.
And the first place is just down the street - it's called H&M - kinda looks like a cross between American Eagle Outfitters and Ross to me - got some trendy looking clothes at much lower  prices and you can tell it's popular cause the place is packed with women trying on clothes and matching up separates and all that stuff.
Did I tell you I really like women's fashion?
No - not for me - I don't do that but I like to watch Project Runway with my wife.... Ok enough of that.
So I go in and in about 5 minutes I got several items picked out for my wife and daughter and I take a few pics and text them back to do a process check. My daughter makes her selections

and I make a couple of Hail Mary selections for my wife and Wam Bam I'm done.
I step out the front door and the street vendors have some cool looking earrings and accessories laid out

And I make a couple of selections there and go through the prerequisite haggling and I'm done there.
Man - am I glad that's over!
Now back to the hotel to drop off the goods and back out to walk the streets and get something to eat and see if I can use that City Pass some more.
Think I'll mosey over to the Flower Market and check that out!
It ain't over till I say it's over!
Get Up! Let's Go!
I can sleep when I'm dead!
