Century Ride on my Mountain Bike

I know there's a lot of people that normally do 100+ miles on Road Bikes and some that do that much on lightly loaded Touring Bikes but haven't heard that many do 100 miles on a Mountain Bike with over-sized tires. 
Regardless, it was a Personal Best for me and a beautiful day to ride and be outside. 
Looks like GoogleMaps pegged it at 105 miles total from my house to Gordita's Mexican Restaurant in Galveston and back. 

And it probably took me at least 10 hours ride time so I was slow but I got it done and had a great day. 
My next additions and changes on my Trek 3700 Mountain Bike will be a Cateye Strata Double Wireless bike computer with speed, mileage and cadence, ergonomic grips and end handles on the handlebars and a new seat and flexing seat post. 
The Columbus Safari bike I rented in Germany had a seat post that had a give mechanism to it and I want one just like that. 

All in All - it was a Great Day spent Exploring New Endurance Limits for myself and seeing a little chunk of the Texas Gulf Coast. 

Yep - I'd say it was another great day spent....
