Amsterdam Red Light District

First, for those who don't know, marijuana and prostitution is legal in Amsterdam. 
My understanding is that in recent years there has been an attempt to "clean it up". 
I don't have a reference because this is my first time here. 
Didn't see much of the cannabis shops but can tell you the Prostitution business is very prominent. 
The way it works is the women "display" themselves in windows /  doors to passers-by and if you like what you see and are so inclined you make your selection and the lady opens the door and you enter that world.... At least that's what I saw anyway. 
Anybody that knows me knows I'm as loyal as an Old Dog but I have to say every woman I saw was drop dead gorgeous. 
I took no pictures because I think that is frowned upon and frankly in poor taste. 
It is part of the history, culture and lifestyle of Amsterdam and I am simply your humble reporter.
