Putting the Protein where my Mouth Is!

Needed a light high protein mid afternoon meal for a preworkout fuel-up.

6 oz of ground turkey breast mix. That's 39g of protein.


With a 30g of protein chocolate protein supplement and a side of tomato and red seedless grapes and a coating of sweet mustard.


I have a wonderful and tasty meal and....

69g of protein total....

High Protein, Low Fat, Veggies, Sweet Fruit...Wonderfully Seasoned!


And I needed it for:

5 reps with 275# on below parallel squats.
3 reps with 85# on dips

And 150 f'g thrusters with a 45# bar.


Not in the bottom today....  right in the middle at 10:15.

Which is fine for this 52 year old.


Got home in time to watch the Voice and fixed a huge platter of spring salad mix with tomatoes and carrot sticks topped with a cast iron skillet mix of kale, sweet onion,  jalapeno and a diced leg and thigh from the Colossal Chicken.

That's another 56g of protein!


But we're not done yet....

1 link of TJ's Sweet Basil Chicken Sausage - 21g of protein
with a diced Fuji apple...


And topped with an egg for another 10g of protein.


So let's see....

That was 56g of protein for lunch....

69g of protein in the mid afternoon preworkout meal

87g of protein in the evening meal.

That's 212g of protein for the day.....

That'll do Pig.....

That'll do.
