Finding the Right Balance for You...
Everybody's different especially in terms of what they like to eat...
But what you like to eat and what is the best thing for you to eat may be two different things...
This shopping basket shows the right balance for me....
Lots of vegetables...
Some fruits, nuts and berries....
A pre-cooked lean protein (Jennie-O Cajun Turkey)...
A fat protein (Jimmy Dean Hot Pork Sausage)....
And lots of Foglifter coffee - Yay!!
The key is consistency....
Find a variety and balance of healthy ingredients that you can rotate through...
It's the ON - OFF....

So for lunch, I sliced and seasoned a summer squash, a red bell pepper and a jalapeño pepper....
As a bed for a couple of spoons of the spaghetti sauce I made yesterday.
I added a couple of slices of the turkey and a boiled egg for some extra protein.
This was delicious, was a large volume of food, but didn't leave me feeling all blown up like a regular spaghetti dinner.
Find your balance....
And then be consistent.
