New Mexico has a spirit to it... in the land and the people. It took me a 1000 miles and a million pedal strokes to get but I don't regret a minute of it... you know the old saying "I don't know what I'm looking for but I'll know when I find it." Well that was kinda my situation. I've found what I was looking for - the peace and freedom of the Great Outdoors and the truly spiritual connection with a land with a history and culture of reverence for the land and the creatures that roam it. I find each day an exciting box to open that bursts out with rich experiences and chance encounters. I've lived and experienced more in the last month than I have in the last 5 years. As my mind & body slowly succumb to the rigors of the day, I look forward to waking up to a New Mexico sunrise over Sumner Lake and to all tomorrow holds in store...Good Night and God Bless!
