There's still quite a few videos I took and stories I'd like to follow up on from Leg 2 from Fort Worth (North Richland Hills Tx) to Santa Fe New Mexico.
Here's a video I did after I had continued on the El Cerro Trail in Villanueva State Park.... I continued to walk the "rim" that was paralleling the road till I got to a point where I decided to descend a pretty steep rocky slope down to the road....
.... the following series of videos will suggest some do's and don'ts for descending steep, rocky slopes....
