78.4 miles....
2nd longest day on the Tour...
Ironically, the longest day was the 1st day - 81 miles from Seattle to Sequim Bay State Park.
So I book ended the Tour with the 2 longest days....
Nice.
Fastest average speed of the entire Tour today of 13.0 mph.
6 hours of ride time....
Total Tour Miles =
2318 miles.
Hell - even I'm impressed with that number.
I'll likely ride down to the border tomorrow to officially complete the route. I think it's about 25 miles and then take the trolley back.
I'll do some more posts on the trip over the next couple of days but right now I'm tired, hungry and thirsty and I'm gonna go get a shower and seek out some Thai food.
I did it...
Seattle to San Diego...
On a Bicycle.
Congratulations William!!!! I was in Carlsbad all day today and thought of you riding south. Enjoy San Diego, it's a fun city. Gorgeous weather, friendly people, and lots of water!!
