Those stumps I call thighs are what make me able to pedal for 8 - 10 hours straight. I don't know how much bigger they've gotten since I started this little trip but suffice it to say that the when the body is put under progressive stress (850 miles of pedaling a mountain bike with 60 lbs of gear on it up and down hills) and given proper nutrition and rest, it will respond..... by getting bigger and stronger.

So now when I say - I'm about to cut the Big Dogs loose! - you'll know what I'm talking about!
Tomorrow me and the Big Dogs will be making a 31 mile run to Clovis NM and when we start it'll be 11 degF..... ain't no Hill for a Stepper!
