Diana - you were asking about the trees here. This info sign on the Interpretive Trail talks about the One-seed Juniper & Honey Mesquit trees as well as the Soapweed Yucca plant. If you go to the blog, you can click on the pic & it should enlarge so you can read the details. This region is Chihuahan Desert and Southern High Plains. I love Interpretive Trails. This is a very well-organized, well-run and service-oriented park... a real oasis in the desert!
