Gettin' ready to pull out from the Food Mart

Wow - busy morning!

Here's what I've done so far:

• made coffee and watched the sun rise (always a good 1st "to do" for the day)
• came into the Food Mart and set up shop.
• recharged everything and downloaded everything
• drank more coffee then drank a DP and ate a Chef Boyardee Beefie Mac and a bag of Doritos.
• reviewed, edited and compressed all the pics from yesterday.
• met and talked to Rudy Drake, a truck driver.... then Dennis and his wife from Arkansas... then Jose', Ray and Melanie Sanchez and a couple of other folks that I didn't get their names.... I guess people just wanna talk to an old fart riding a bicycle typing on a Netbook snarfing down Beefie Mac in a roadside store on I40W in New Mexico.....
• I've got everything packed up and ready to go....
• Got the whole story from yesterday written in my head, but it'll take me probably an hour to write it in the blog.....
• Still gotta go take a spit bath in the bathroom...

So I think I'm gonna go do that and then hit the road... looks like it's about 35 miles to VSP from here so I'm gonna hit the road and write yesterday's epic from my campsite at VSP assuming I have VZW access...... speaking of Verizon Wireless....

I went back and changed my setting on my VZW Navigator from bicycle to car/motorcycle..... I think that son of a *(^@! would plot me a course down a cow trail if there was one which is what it basically did yesterday.....

Live and Learn..... I'll have a lot of learnings, do's and don'ts and analysis of yesterday's little ride into the black hole between Anton Chico and Villanueva State Park....

but first I have to get to Villanueva State Park...... Round 2..... think I'll take the road more traveled today!
