Semi Homemade Spaghetti....

Start chopping them veggies....

Cause this ain't your typical spaghetti....

Get that pot of salted water on to boil and throw the pasta in cause that's the thing that takes the longest. I do 9 minutes on my pasta....

Hard veggies - 2 sweet onions, 1 poblano pepper, 1 red bell pepper salted and peppered first....

In fact, everything gets S&P before it goes in.

Then work in the meat - I used a half link of Holmes Pork & Venison sausage, 1/3 tube of JD Hot pork sausage and about a fistful of my ground turkey breast mix.

Then 1 zucchini 1 yellow squash, 1/3 a head of garlic, 1/2 small box of mushrooms.

Throw in a good bit of Italian Seasoning and a couple of bay leaves.

1 jar of HEB spicy red pepper spaghetti sauce and a can of diced tomatoes goes in next.

Pasta's done.... Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and salt and pepper.

Throw in a can of organic peas.

And don't forget 2 teaspoons of brown sugar... Helps cut the acidity of the tomatoes and blend everything together.

Simmer for a few more minutes and she's done.

20 minutes from top to bottom.

Throw in a couple of garden fresh green onions and belly up to Ouback Willie's Spaghetti Bar.

Hell.... Sandra Lee ain't got nothing on me... Except....

Ok... Never mind....

She's got a lot on me.
