Live Music Springtime and Reflection in Santa Fe

With artistry, music and creativity being at the center of Santa Fe's cultural and social scene, it's pretty easy to go and listen to great quality live music.

These are the Bus Tapes with the leader of our hiking group, Dave Gold, on lead guitar.

The locals tell me this has been a Wet and Cold Spring with frequent rain and some snow showers and temps at night still dipping into the 30s.

That's fine by me.... it's still a Weather Paradise compared to the Texas Gulf Coast.

The Muralla Compound where I live is a beautiful setting in and of itself with the access lane lined with beautiful flowers and trees.

Taking a stroll out to Paseo de Peralta brings more of the same.

Despite the injuries and the slowdown in activity, I am still of the mind that you have too keep trying to be active.

Work around your injuries..... Challenge yourself NOT to be inactive.

And stay on the Paleo....

2 slices of Trader Joe's Uncured Peppered Bacon
1 link of Trader Joe's Sweet Basil Chicken Sausage
2 Eggs over medium with TJ's Garlic - Chipotle Salsa
Sliced Baked Sweet Potato
Couple of chunks of Sweet Onion
1/2 avocado
1/2 jalapeno

One of my favorite bands of the Santa Fe Live Music Scene is the John Kurzweg Band....

He sings like Robert Plant, they have great original music and do most covers better than the original....

And with a Violin a part of the sound.....

It's pretty unique.

So I'm slowed down in Santa Fe....

And maybe that's a good thing.

It's been a pretty intense last year and a half.

Has everything worked out as planned?

No....

But there's a beauty and an asynchronousity to that.

Sometimes just moving in the right direction is enough.
