Hotel - Motel - Scottish Inn Suites!

Part of the challenge of being on the road or being without a permanent home is living in a motel.

Motel Life can be OK.... IF you make your motel room your little home.

It may take a little organization and some creativity such as....

Who would've thought that a TV table would make a perfect food prep counter?

4 pork chops preseasoned with meat tenderizer and my Moroccan Spices this time consisting of Hot Madras Curry Powder, Turmeric, Salt and Pepper.

Yep How bout a pantry and supplement shelf?

And there's the bike gear and PVC pipes for massage and active release.

And of course the Coffee Station and Office which are on the same table as they should be.

Speaking of prep'g.... Veggies on the left....Diced Sausage in the middle and the 4 pork chops on the right.

And here's the Outdoor Kitchen.

Coleman Propane Burner and Cast Iron Skillet that I rescued from my storage room, Camp Table and Camp Chair.

Round 1 - Pork Chops.

Blackened Pork Chop... perfectly done...Fork Tender.

On go the Squash....

Then the Peppers and Onions.

Who says you need a fancy kitchen and a $1200 stove to cook great food?

And finally the sausage...

Hit the veggies with a drizzle of EVOO and Balsamic and a sprinkle of salt when you take them out of the skillet.

I've cooked all this protein and veggies.... Now all I need to do is portion it out for Meals for the Week.

Here's the 1st one with a Pork Chop...

And the 2nd one with sausage....

I ate one meal and made 5....

All done in less than 30 minutes on a 1 burner Coleman Propane burner with a cast iron skillet.

Home is where you Hang your Hat!
