The collection of sand that formed the campground area is now being reversed and 260 acres has been lost since the peak.

The 6 bulb assembly rotates through one bulb at a time - Yep - you got that right.....

One little bulb makes all that light....

Thought the magic of reflected light...

The 1st generation Fresnel lens was built in 1822 for $3000 - $6000.....

It is estimated it would cost $6 million to build it now.
