    Hi Will, I'm guessing you're through California and back in Texas. I was looking through your blog today and enjoying what looked like some California oceanside scenery. Or maybe you're still on your way to you're rendezvous in san Diego. Hope the journey is going well and good luck with Leg 3.

      In Mendocino CA. Will be in San Fran in a few days. Will lay over for 5 days in San Fran then on to San Diego.

    If I haven't said it before, I really appreciate your ability to bringing to us poor, lowly creatures that live down in L.A. (lower Alabama), this wonderful trip that you are experiencing. Thanks because I know I will never have the opportunity to enjoy a trip of this magnitude. Keep the memories coming.

    Also, I didn't mention, but great picture of you on that ledge. Sure hope you didn't take any undue dangerous changes in producing this.

      You are not lowly creatures and you could do the same thing I'm doing if you put your mind to it.

      Everything we do has some risk to it.

      It is up to us to manage the risk.

      I manage risk aggressively.

      Those "catwalks" are less than a foot wide in places and have a lot of loose gravel on them and are all downhill.

      7 years ago I wouldn't have done it....

      Now - no problem.

      Different place in my life - different perception of risk.
