1: took a flight from LA to Chicago en route to Johnson city Tennessee. Got to airport late, had to trash almost all my clothes and luggage just to get on plane. Arrived in Johnson city after midnight, took a 2 hour can ride to north Carolina, slept in a motel for 4 hours. Got up and did a 12 man relay over 200+ miles (my legs totaled about 25) sleeping in a van, showering in ports-potties (we finished in about 32 hours). 2. Drive straight to Atlanta from asheville (where we finished, and had about 12 mimosas each), slept in a shitty airport Hampton, flew back to Dallas on Sunday, and was back in California on Monday. 2. Felt like a transcontinental warrior, high on endorphins and..... 3. Got lost en route from Johnson city, got lost at 3 am on a north carolina back road, still finished in top half. 4. Get to airport on time. 5. Did it the next year, and signed up again this year
