Plan of the Day...

 
It was to head out of San Francisco to the Pigeon Point Lighthouse Hostel....

But I decided to hang out in San Fran 1 more day. 

I've done almost 80 miles in and around San Fran on my bike in the last 3 days... 

Yesterday was 33 miles on the Marin Headlands Loop with some pretty steep climbs. 

I'm at 1543 miles for the tour total and I really haven't rested since I got to San Fran. 

I've washed all my clothes, bought all my food and supplies for the next few days on the road, got everything packed except for my toiletries and have cleaned and serviced my bike. 

I'm taking the afternoon off and may catch a show tonight and then rollout early tomorrow morning. 

That still only puts me 2 days behind my original schedule and I used a full day here in getting my Red Mule re-geared and testing it out. 

Besides I really like San Fran and the people and the downtown area. 

I would live here in a heartbeat. 

It's got the right combo of cool weather, scenery, terrain, culture and people.
