Doing the Hostel thing... Getting Stronger Everyday!

Heading for El Torito's for a Marg and Enchiladas. 

Day 40 of the Pacific Coast Bicycle Tour just Bit the Dust. 

I powered through 52 miles without stopping averaging 11.7 mph against a pretty stiff headwind and over up and down terrain. 

I'm really liking the gear changes I made in San Fran. The gears are closer together and I am staying in my power band with more gears.  I find myself actually jumping on the pedals and sprinting up some of the hills....

On a Mountain Bike....

With 60# of gear.  

Not bad...

That makes 1655 miles total for this tour. 

And that's not bad either.
