Last Workout - Last Supper.... Of 2015

Ending 2015 the way I began it.... the Paleo Way....

Which means a huge bowl of Spring Mix, Arugula, tomatoes, carrots with a small side of Black Rice.

And a nice portion of a thick sirloin!

Add cast iron skillet grilled baked sweet potato, asparagus and squash.

Fucking Tragedy..... Broke My Blue Platter that I've eaten meals out of since July 1999.... probably 2000 meals or so.  It is one of the 5 things in Life I treasured most and wanted to be buried with.

Broke My Blue Platter.... Broke My Blue Heart....

Last Workout of 2015.... a body blasting combination of a Strength movement of a complex of working to a max of Romanian Dead Lift / Hang Shrug / Hang Clean / Front Squat without ever putting the bar down.

And then a gut checking 12 min AMRAP Bear Complex of:

2 Hang Snatches
2 Thrusters
2 Front Squats
2 Push Presses
2 Back Squats
10 Burpees
95# for Men / 65# for Women

With a nice little warmup preceding it all.

Not my best performance.... but good enough to feel good about!

Yep - Santa Fe became my new home for 2015.

And here's the best deal I can find on meat in Santa Fe.

$2.99 / lb Sirloin at Smith's.

Almost 3.5 lbs of steak for 10 bucks!

Season it with meat tenderizer, salt, pepper and a Hot Madras Curry Powder, Garam Masala, Allspice, Cumin, Turmeric mix on both sides and the edges and fork those into the meat vigrourously and then refrigerate overnight.

Dualing patties of 96% lean ground beef and 99% lean ground turkey - both with a wet mix of egg, mustard, sriracha, tabasco, balsamic and sweet mustard and mixed with diced veggies - sweet onion, poblano - jalapeno - red bell peppers, carrot sticks and Tuscan kale.

Serve with a nice salad and a side of cast iron skillet grilled eggplant and eat happy!

There's 2 of those sirloins - cast iron skillet grilled 4 minutes on each side - with 3 broiled Lobster Tails.

And yellow squash.

And Eggplant and Asparagus.

And a helluva beautiful salad!

If I had to have a Last Supper.....

This would be it!

Good-bye 2015!
