Geez America - just quit eating!
Good Morning!!
First off this Friday morning, let me say I'm not trying to be mean or disrespectful to anyone....
I'm just making an observation....
Everywhere I look, I see....
No.... Not Dead People...
I see....
Fat People!
Makes me wonder how this many people got this fat.
Pretty simple actually....
There's 3500 calories in a pound of fat so if you're 50 lbs overweight, somewhere in between the day you were born and now, you consumed...
50 lbs X 3500 calories / lb = 175000 calories more than you burned....
Wow.... That's a lot of extra calories.
And a lot of extra weight.
Now given that the average person burns around 2000 calories a day, that means if you're 50 lbs overweight, you've got....
175000 calories / 2000 calories / day = 87.5 days of calories of fat on your body.
So theoretically you could not eat anything and live off your own fat for nearly 3 months.
Wow. Double Wow.
So.... Here's a thought.
For all you overweight people out there who wanna do something about it....
Just quit eating!
It's called fasting and is a tried and proven technique as old as Biblical times.
Hell - Jesus went for 40 days without eating and still kicked the Devil's ass!
Seriously, here's a challenge for all the fat Bible Bangers we seem to be so overrun with where I live.
Whatever happened to "your body is the Temple of God"?
Did you choose to overlook that part of the Bible?
Or Leviticus 22 which tells you what to eat?
Except for the allowance of grains, the "Bible Diet" is pretty close to a Paleo diet.

So anyway, back to the fasting thing.
Obviously, you need to get checked out and cleared by a doctor before you do anything that may affect your health (even if it's something good for you).
With that said, the "just stop eating" approach is something that you can do right now.
I mean - Come on - the Naked and Afraid people basically go for 21 days without eating.
Drink plenty of water...
If you get to feeling weak or think you're about to die, eat a banana or an apple or a boiled egg.
Your body is gonna rebel cause you been feeding it sugar laden shit for years...
You're gonna go through withdrawal symptoms just like a drug addict - OK maybe not as severe.
But you're gonna feel weak, irritable, nervous, whatever.
You're gonna feel like shit for a few days.
But after a few days of fasting / eating sparingly, you're gonna start feeling and looking better.
And you're gonna be 7 - 10 lbs lighter.
And that's a good start.
Once you make that first hurdle, put together a diet plan that works for you.
Almost every diet that works long term is based on a high protein high fruit / vegetable content.
So check out Paleo, South Beach, Bible Diet, Weight Watchers, Atkins.... Whatever.
Just pick one you think you can do and stick with it.
Once you get on the right diet track and you've lost a few pounds, start thinking about adding / working up to an hour of exercise everyday.
Be careful - one thing leads to another and you're actually building a healthy lifestyle pyramid of

Hell - keep that up and one day you may look in the mirror and realize...
You're half the person you used to be...
And that's a good thing.
And it all began with the Decision to....
