I should have been on the one for the local S8.
So first I thought I would just can over to Dusseldorf Main Station.
But then this nice couple came up to the platform and we started talking and I found out the S28 would get me to Dusseldorf.
We talked and laughed about my great adventure and sometimes misadventures and I had them rolling when I told them about getting pulled over by the police while riding my bike on the Autobahn.
The couple are vacationing in Germany but lives on a small island off the east coast of Spain - Iveza - I'm probably misspelling it.
So anyway I got off the S28 at the Dusseldorf main station and got on the 11:02 S8 with arrival in Monchengladbach at 11:36, about 30 mins behind my original schedule. Don't know how this will work out but it's just part of the continuing Discovery of Germany and soon to be Holland by plane, bike and train.
See you somewhere I hope!
