Guided by the Sun...

When I'm in a place I'm not familiar with and I have no particular place to go, I will many times just set a random, ragged zig zag course guided by the sun. 
Keeping the rising sun on my right and occasionally zagging into the Sun puts me on a North by Northeast course through North Richland Hills - pretty nice neighborhoods!

As you can see North Richland Hills is a beautiful suburb of Ft Worth. 
I could definitely live here.
