Made It!

They told me at the last minute that I had to load my bike in the 1st car and I was about 20 cars down on the platform
So I
Made a 150m dash to the first car and loaded my bike on the special car made for the bike transport just as the departure alarm
rang. The door closed behind me and we were
Rolling!  Holy Close Calls Batman! I mean I
have dodged about umpteen bullets on this trip and my luck is still holding up. I think I've been Godsmacked in a Goodway. Anyway, now I'm riding in the 1st car right behind the Conductor driving the train. Hell - I couldn't have dreamed this any better!

On Platform 3 but in the wrong place. 

In the rack in the 1st car on IC1216 to Dusseldorf.
