Beautiful budding trees on Cerillos across from Whole Food Markets.
I think it's safe to say....
Spring has come to Santa Fe.
This is something that has been on my mind a lot lately...
I have some significant decisions to make over the next few months and it all has to do with maintaining balance in my life.
Financial Security, Healthy location for living, Physical Fitness, Mental and Emotional Health, Community, Proximity / Convenience to Family....
It's all about finding Your Sense of Balance.
Whole Food Markets lunch for $7.
Beef and Chicken Quesadilla over Spanish Rice and Grilled Vegetables with Pico de Gallo and Guacamole.
And a Tuna Salad Slider with Cheddar.
Another example of a quesadilla lunch.
When I don't want to cook, I know where I'll buy my meal from now on.
Another pile of veggies.
And a massive Ground Turkey Breast Mix patty.
With a dark beer and some Hoisin Sauce for condiment.
Pannier is full of groceries from Smith's....
With 2 sacks from Trader Joe's.
That's a load in anybody's book or on anybody's bike.
A counter of fruit, veggies, spices, seasoning, balsamic, canola and olive oils, nuts, fruit and chocolate.
A refrigerator of 6 different proteins:
TJ's Turkey Meat Loaf
TJ's Peppers stuffed with Turkey and Rice
TJ's Prosciotto
TJ's Uncured Turkey Bacon
TJ's Sweet Basil Chicken Sausage
Cage Free Eggs
6 Veggies:
Green & Red Bell Peppers
Jalapeno Peppers
Kale
Spring Mix
Carrot Sticks
Radishes
2 Fruits:
Fuji Apple
Blackberries
Condiments and Garnishes:
Sweet Mustard
Garlic Chili Paste
Olives
And a Colossal Chicken from Smith's.
Here's one of the TJ's stuffed peppes and a baked sweet potato.
A quick and easy meal with a lot of flavor.
Another meal from the grocery haul....
2 slices of the Turkey Meat Loaf, 2 slices of Prosciotto (it's like a lean bacon.... which is a double negative), 2 slices of Focaccia bread.
A 3rd meal....
Diced Chicken Sausage and Turkey Bacon with tomato open faced sandwiches with sauted bananas, 2 eggs and some fresh onion.
Change it up.... Create variety... Eat well....
Feed the Body.
