Paleo..... Sleep.... PIYO.... Paleo..... 4 hours of Work.... CrossFit.... Paleo

A protein rich light supper last night.....

Diced Roasted Chicken Breast over Spring Mix with Tomatoes, Carrot Sticks and thin sliced Radishes with a handful of nuts and dried fruit.


It's Monday which means 9:00 am PIYO Strength Class with the Incredible Miss P at Anytime Fitness...

A great 45 minutes of Pilates, Yoga, Body Weight Strength and Stretching....

Followed by a Mondo Paleo Pile!

Starting with a skillet full of TJ's Turkey Meat Loaf and a whole diced thigh and leg from the Colossal Chicken.


Surrounding pile of Spring Mix, Carrots, Tomatoes, and Radishes doused with Balsamic and EVOO.....


And finished with a sprinkle of almonds, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, dried fruit and a good bit of seasoning.


Got in 4 hours of intense Excel Worksheet work for a Gulf Coast Client.....

And then turned by attention to getting ready for and riding the Jamis to ZiaCrossFit for the 5:30 Monday workout.

If you've never been in a CrossFit Box..... You owe it to yourself to do the Intro classes and try it for a couple of months.

If you survive, you will be a different person....

Physically.... Yes...

But Mentally and Emotionally....

You will be different too.... Stronger.

And Different.


Who the hell came up with a 3 rep max on squats followed by a 30 min AMRAP of:

25 Thrusters
25 Burpee Box Jump
25 Russian KB Swingx
25 Double Unders (Coach Crow sub'd in 50 bicycles since I can't jump rope with my Achilles Heel injury)


I ended up with 3 full rounds with a full 25 Thruster set.....

Not too bad considering I've got a blown Achilles Heel, f'd up Back and have been attacked by a pretty severe allergy - respiratory problem.

You know what I say to that.....

Shut up and Work out Old Man!


Wanted a lot of flavorful food after the Crazy CrossFit WOD....

TJ's Sweet Basil Chicken Sausage and Uncured Peppered Turkey Bacon over Sweet Mustard smeared Grilled Focaccia bread topped with grilled red and green Bell Peppers, Avocado and Tomato.....

Sided with grilled Kale.....

And 2 over medium eggs.


If that don't make you a Happy Thrusting, Box Jumping, Kettle Bell Swinging, Jump Roping One of 'Em....

Then go eat some Cheetos!


Oh..... and for dessert.....

A bowful of Mixed Nuts, Dried Fruit, Fresh Cinnamon sprinkled Banana, Fresh Blackberries and a sliced of diced Prosciotto.

Bam!


Oh.... and an Avery Brewing Co. Ellie's Brown Ale to wash it all down.
