Trying to get the Hell outa Here... What I do with a Lotta My Time!!!

The 2014 Master Plan had me selling the house I live in (105 Poinciana in Lake Jackson) and heading to one of the aforementioned places...

But that hasn't happened yet...

But 2 or 3 times a week, there's a showing and I try to make the house as "showable" as possible which includes:

Doing a quick hand shampooing of the carpet with Resolve carpet cleaner and then brushing with a shop broom before vacuuming.

I've found this is the best way to bring older carpet back to life.

Then I sweep all the linoleum and wood floor surfaces...

And then hand clean the linoleum...

Yep - on hands and knees with a general purpose cleaner and a rag continuously rinsed in hot water.

I've tried mops, squeegees and all the other bullshit tools and found this is the best and fastest way.

Inside is done so now I turn to the outside.

Blow the leaves out of the driveway and flowerbeds first so the mower will mulch them up.

And then get to mowing. Grass was high with all the rain so this calls for an ultra sharp blade. I cut to the inside once again so the mower mulches everything up.

Decided it was time for a smoke....

So smoke and mow!!!

People have told me I'll make a Pretty Good Wife someday!
