Angle Lake Cyclery was a bicycle shop I picked from a list of shops that showed up on a Google search for "bicycle shops near SEA-TAC airport". It was the closest.
What I stumbled onto my random chance is quite likely the best bicycle shop I'll ever be in... Also the most chaotic ... And ordered at the same time.
There's only 2 guys here - Dale the Owner and Mannie the Assistant and Mechanic.
But what they do there is a mix of Santa's Workshop meets a Nuclear explosion.
I mean first of all the place is wall to wall and floor to ceiling bikes....
Of every kind and make imaginable -
Trek, Specialized, Montague, Dahon...
Road, Mountain, Hybrid, Touring, recumbent, semi - recumbent and designs and configurations I have never seen before.
And there are bikes everywhere in different states of assembly, disassembly, repair - rims and tires and pedals and racks and derailleur assemblies all over counters and floors and people are coming in and out like it's a Wild West Saloon -
