Continuing the plan of the day...

Fat fingers hit the Send button again before I was done...

So anyway it looks like it's about 25 miles and I was planning on riding 101 until a really nice sequim Bay State Park Lady named Theresa dropped by my camp to bring me the change for my $20 I had left in the self pay envelope last night. 

We got to talking cause I like to talk to cute, nice park ladies. 

I told her where I was going and what I was doing and she said "I'll be right back. I have some maps for you".

So she returns a few minutes later with 3 maps one of which is this...

And Theresa tells me I can cycle through the woods all the way to Port Angeles on....

So she shows me the route...

So basically I take the Yellow and Green trail from Sequim Bay State Park all the way to Hurricane Ridge Road...
 

And up the road to the Heart of the Hills Campground. 

The entry point to the Olympic Discovery is literally right in front of my campsite!

I was gonna explore Sequim Bay State Park on my unloaded bike until I found out about the Olympic Discovery Trail....
