Bike paths in Germany

A friend of mine asked me about this and I'll have more on it in a later post but the bottom line is you follow the signs as best you can.
They may go through city streets, forests, along the river, past homes, vineyards and by industrial parks and docks.
They may be asphalt, caliche, dirt, grass or any other surface but they are everywhere.
Another reason you need a bike like this - a hybrid touring bike with rack and panniers.
It's fast, durable, comfortable and will roll over any surface you want to be on in Germany.
Now let's get back to this run to Heidelberg!
