Back to Life... Back to Reality... Back to the Here and Now.... Bringing Down the Giant!

Getting lined out on the workouts....

The old Zia CrossFit has morph'd to Praxis - the Relentless Pursuit of Perfection.

Don't know about that but I know the same guy is running it, BJ Monger, and that's all I need to know.

Totally different approach and coaching style than Will Black with CrossFit WMD, but this guy knows fitness and customizing fitness plans and techniques to the capabilities and disabilities of the athlete.



For better or for worse, I am in Santa Fe, this is my World now.

This is the World I Know.


We all have a lot of problems and challenges in our life.  Sometimes we feel like David standing in the shadow of Goliath.

My suggestion.... Stay Calm, Focus, Pick up a Small Stone, Put it in your sling, Swing the Sling around your head, Look the Giant in the Eye, Aim where you're looking.... and let if fly.


First class back was Liz Prehm's PIYO Strength class at Anytime Fitness.... absolutely the best class I have ever been to that combines Strength and Flexibility.


If you take responsibility for your Life and all the things - good and bad - that go with it, and address them with thoughtful consideration and a plan...

You can take Control of Your Life.

But you have to understand that your Success or Failure.....


First ride on the Red Mule to and from Anytime Fitness.


Getting back to the straight and narrow of Paleo.

Baking some sweet potatoes.


Boiling some eggs....


Doing the Ground Turkey Breast Mix....


And making a nice Spring Mix, tomato, carrot, jalapeno salad with dried figs, mixed nuts, black grapes and roasted chicken breast....


Doing a little work ahead of time, like baking these sweet potatoes....


Sets you up for success in the future, whether it's....

a Healthy Eating Plan....

A New Career....

or a New Life in a New Location.
