Walk from Dusseldorf to Erkrath

Decided I needed some exercise after the umpteen beers and bratwurst and goulash so I decided to walk the 11 km from Dusseldorf to Erkrath. My German friends have been telling me how crazy and unpredictable April weather can be and this evening's walk had it all - take a look....
It began with a walk through the Jagerhoffer's Park - 
Where flowers - 

And Trees competed for attention with more modern structures. 

I think the flowers and trees won.
