A Texan in Dusseldorf Germany

Yep - Believe it or Not!
I'm in Germany for a week of work and week of play. 
Brought 1 case of business and casual shoes and 1 case with all my outdoor clothes and cycling gear. Staying at the quaint and beautiful Arcadia Hotel in Erkrath. Flew over here on Lufthansa Business Class and I must say the Germans definitely know about customer service. Drank very good Reisling and had Tuna Carpacchio and micro green salad for a 1st course, baked cod over noodles and long beans for the main and New York Cheesecake with Raspberry Compote for dessert with a nice port to round it out. And to finish it off - a full bodied decaf and a nightcap of cognac. Watched 2 wonderful movies on the flight - a great comedy called "New Year's Eve" and a Sci fi flick called "In Time". Bout to head down the street and get some Euros and walk around Erkrath a little bit.
