Just Call Me Captain America!

Just saw the "Avengers" and I have to say it is probably one of my top 5 movies of all time.

It was like 6 Iron Mans back to back to back....

It was funny, action-packed, had a decent plot (Believable?  I don't know about that but who gives a shit!) and the Special Effects were awesome....

I saw it in 2D because I was with a bunch of queasy panty waists but I'm gonna go back with a couple of beers under my belt and watch it in 3D and get the full effect....

It features the Stan Lee Comic Book Superheroes -

Hawk (I wish I could shoot my bow like that!)
Black Widow (played by Scarlet Johannson - Holy Moly!)
Iron Man (I absolutely love RDJr)
the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo played both the Bruce Banner character and the Incredible Hulk and was my and my gang's overall favorite)
Thor (what a Hammer!)

and of course.... my sentimental favorite....

CAPTAIN AMERICA!!!

Superheroes - Who needs 'em?

Our kids - right?

Yep.... they need them....

And so do us adults!

That's why the Avengers is one of the top grossing movies of all time....

Cause we want to see someone kick the shit out of the bad guys....

And do it in style with their own particular strengths..... and weaknesses.

When we watch our Superheroes, we grab a little bit of that....

Spirit of Adventure...

of Doing the Right Thing...

of Standing Up for What is Right....

And subconsciously, we strive to be better.

And that, in a nutshell, my Friends, Romans and Countrymen.....

Is what Life is all about.

Be a Better You....

Cause if You Don't Like You.....

No One Else Will!

And that'll preach....

And I just did!

And in the Spirit of Captain America....

Who I feel like in this shirt, I have to tell my dear and loving sister, Diana, thank you so much for this shirt and the other 5 that you sent me.  You are my Superhero.... God Bless Your Loving and Giving Spirit!

I'm planning on taking the 2 Columbia S/S Bonehead shirts and this one on my trip with me and will display the colors every chance I get!

I guess she knows what her brother likes and how he is....

Loud and Proud!

Bold and Out of Control!

I am Captain America!

Now Let's Go Be a Superhero today!
