began as a cycling blog - "Discovering America on 2 Wheels" - in Dec 2009. Since then it's become much more. It is an irreverent, humorous and introspective way of sharing my daily lifestyle, interests, opinions and life challenges. It is a Labor of Love that is Raw, Uncut and Real Time straight from my Heart, Mind and Life to You. So I hope you Read, Enjoy and Become Involved in My Discovery and, in so doing, learn more about Yourself, the World Around You and Your Own Path to Discovery!

Every day... before the riding begins....
I take care of my horse.... clean the chain, chain ring, rear cassette, derailleur, check the trueness on the wheels, check for brake drag, record all the previous day's data off the bike computer and reset for today's ride... then pump the tires up to 115 psig. Check lights and batteries on my 4 lights and my Zen MP3 player. Then I fill my Camelbak and 1 Polar Bottle w/ half ice half water then my 2nd Polar Bottle w/ half Creatine mix half ice. Repack the Panniers and mount them on the bike. Stretch, Shave, Shower, Dress and get everything in the correct pocket on my shorts and shirt so I don't even have to think about where it is.... Whew! Now I'm ready to START my day!
