began as a cycling blog - "Discovering America on 2 Wheels" - in Dec 2009. Since then it's become much more. It is an irreverent, humorous and introspective way of sharing my daily lifestyle, interests, opinions and life challenges. It is a Labor of Love that is Raw, Uncut and Real Time straight from my Heart, Mind and Life to You. So I hope you Read, Enjoy and Become Involved in My Discovery and, in so doing, learn more about Yourself, the World Around You and Your Own Path to Discovery!

To Kill-Ya or Not to Kill-Ya - Carbs is the question! This week's Meatings!
I think somebody messed with my medicine...
Nutrition info for 1.5 oz of 80 proof tequila.
All calories no carbs.
Tenderizing and seasoning some $2.99 / lb sirloin steaks.
That's 6 nice portions of high protein lean sirloin that I will put 4 mins on each side in a cast iron skillet.
I'm back in Santa Fe after a hard month's work in Texas in July and getting back to a healthier routine.

Morning Warmup Part 1
I made a 2:26 video of my morning warmup that I cut into 2 segments to be able to post to the blog.
It utilizes a 5' pole and works first on upper body / shoulder warmup and flexibility and then all body warmup.
It is something I do every morning as soon as I get up and every time before a workout.
I will also do it during the day especially if I am sitting at a computer for an extended period of time.
You can use a long broom handle but my favorite pole is a 5' section of 3/4" PVC pipe that you can get at any Lowe's, Home Depot or hardware store for $2.
It is a cheap and effective exercise tool.
Check this out.
