How I freshen up leftovers!

Man.... I don't know about heating up leftovers....

But if you're just talking about heatin' up, this is the song for you!

"Down On Me"
All the things I see in you
All the things I know that are true
And when the light in the morning
Comes shining through

I see, I see

I see the sun shining
(Down on me)
I feel the heat of love's flame
(Down on me)
I love the thought of you comin'
(Down on me)
And I'm so wet from love raining
(Down on me)

Down on me, down on me

All the things you mean to me
All the things I want us to be
And when the man in the moon
Looks straight at you

I see, oh, I see

I see the sun shining
(Down on me)
I feel the heat of love's flame
(Down on me)
I love the thought of you comin'
(Down on me)
And I'm so wet from love raining
(Down on me)

Down on me, down on me

And you're a new kinda way
But that's getting stronger every day
Get on the good foot and keep it on top
One thing's for certain, it ain't never gonna stop

I see the sun shining
(Down on me)
I feel the heat of love's flame
(Down on me)
I love the thought of you comin'
(Down on me)
And I'm so wet from love raining
(Down on me)

I see the sun shining
(Down on me)
Oh, I feel the heat of love's flame
(Down on me)
I love the thought of you comin'
(Down on me)
And I'm so wet from love raining
(Down on me)

I see the sun shining
(Down on me)
Oh, I feel the heat of love's flame
(Down on me)
I love the thought of you comin'
(Down on me)
And I'm so wet from love raining
(Down on me)

Down on me, down on me
Down on me

Love this guy's voice!

What was I supposed to be talking about?

Oh yeah... the exciting world of leftovers.... so what do you do with them?

Well - you got 3 choices:
  1. Throw 'em out.
  2. Eat 'em.
  3. Freshen 'em up and Eat 'em!
Let's try what's behind door #3!

Let's start with a heaping skillet of fresh veggies.... sweet onion, bok choy, jalapeno and green bell pepper, carrot sticks seasoned with salt and pepper and garam masala, hot madras curry power, cumin and turmeric.

No Oil..... Just a smoking hot cast iron skillet!

Some bok choy leaves and yellow squash and oh yeah.... the leftover Braised Pork.

After the first group of veggies have sauted a few minutes, add the "soft veggies" and roll into the mix.

What's that?  How 'bout a fresh banana with a little cinnamon..... Yeah that's the ticket!

Make a hole for the gorilla food right in the middle so it can come into direct contact with the hot skillet.

Then dump in the braised pork and all the good braised veggies and braising liquid gold.

Mix, distribute and heat up the leftovers...

Plate with a side of Creatine and Chocolate Protein mix.

And top with a few golden raisins and kalamata olives for a bit more sweet and salty and different textures.

Don't know about freshening up leftovers, but fresh flowers will sure brighten your day.

I get a new batch every week from TJ's....

I'd say that's worth $5.95 - wouldn't you?

Wake up Folks - this Monday is more than half done!

Let's keep this train a rollin' and have a Great Week!
