Santa Fe Renaissance Fair Part 2

I was actually fascinated by a demonstration that took wool from its raw form to woven fabric.

As I said, my interest turned from the commercialism of the Fair to the rudimentary structures of a ranch in New Mexico in past centuries.

Outdoor cooking at its finest.... this lady was making vegetable and rice soup.

Now this is organic cooking at its best!

Dig the pot over the open fire.

Used to do that in my back yard all the time.

Don't  believe me?  Ask my kids.

A 1598 village?

I'm up for that.

Where there is water....

There is Life.

And Food and Crops is life.

Carpenter's shop.

Huge old Cottonwood.

And out here...

Shade is Life too.
