All right.... let's get this little culinary creation started by laying out everything:
1/2 roasted chicken now deboned
1 link turkey sausage
ground turkey breast mix (not shown)
1/2 carton red chile sauce
pint of hot green chiles (remember the "hot" part; I had to fix this later)
leftover mild green chiles
1 sweet onion
1 poblano pepper
1 jalapeno pepper
1 squash
1 zucchini
There's the chicken deboned.
There's the chiles.
Dice the turkey sausage and roasted chicken.
Dice the onion and peppers and season meat and veggies with African - Moroccan spice mix, and TJ's 21 spice salute.
Dice the squash and zucchini and ditto on the seasoning.
Saute the onions and peppers for 3 minutes.
Throw in the squash and zucchini and saute for 3 more minutes.
There's the turkey breast mix on the right already seasoned.
Make a hole in the veggies and throw in a good patty of the turkey breast mix. Let it cook for a couple of minutes then flip and dice up and distribute throughout the veggies.
Then mix in the the deboned chicken and turkey sausage and cook for 3 minutes.
Then add in the chiles....
And the red chile sauce.
Mix 2 teaspoons of Better than Bouillion or 2 chicken bouillion cubes into 2 cups boiling water.
And pour into the mix...
And let 'er simmer for 3 - 5 minutes.
I ate a couple of bowls of this fantastic mix and found out it was too f'g hot and I don't mean temperature hot....
The whole container of Hot Green Chiles was too much and that's saying a lot cause I like my food hot.
Don't panic ya pioneers....we're gonna fix this Hot Tamale in the next post!!!
I'm goin to have to try this recipe.
