began as a cycling blog - "Discovering America on 2 Wheels" - in Dec 2009. Since then it's become much more. It is an irreverent, humorous and introspective way of sharing my daily lifestyle, interests, opinions and life challenges. It is a Labor of Love that is Raw, Uncut and Real Time straight from my Heart, Mind and Life to You. So I hope you Read, Enjoy and Become Involved in My Discovery and, in so doing, learn more about Yourself, the World Around You and Your Own Path to Discovery!

If I don't try it I'll regret it! Sky Rim or Bust!
My wife and I did a backpacking trip in Yellowstone in Aug 2001.
One of the trails we did was called Sky Rim.
Very steep Very High Very Narrow Trails. No water.
We did a 24 mile version by going in on the Sportsman Lake Trail.
I'm gonna do the traditional 21 mile day hike version that goes in at the Daley Creek trailhead.
I'm gonna drive 191 towards West Yellowstone to the trailhead, evaluate the weather and decide there if it's a go.
Will post as signal permits.
That's the plan.
