began as a cycling blog - "Discovering America on 2 Wheels" - in Dec 2009. Since then it's become much more. It is an irreverent, humorous and introspective way of sharing my daily lifestyle, interests, opinions and life challenges. It is a Labor of Love that is Raw, Uncut and Real Time straight from my Heart, Mind and Life to You. So I hope you Read, Enjoy and Become Involved in My Discovery and, in so doing, learn more about Yourself, the World Around You and Your Own Path to Discovery!
Hey Will! I don't have any other way to contact you, so sorry for always posting on you blog! I can email or text you if you'd prefer, but I need your contact info!
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I wanted to say that I am so glad that you came tonight! I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to say goodbye!
Also, I wanted to apologize if you felt like I was disagreeing with you in any way less than respectful when you were talking about your feelings about scripture. the LAST thing we would want is for anyone to feel like they can't express themselves freely. Plus instead of saying what MY opinion was, I should have just referenced Scripture to explain what I meant, so I'm really sorry!
AND, I realized later that I made a comment about tithing, and you had mentioned that you were turned off by that way of thinking. So I wanted to clarify that I didn't mean that everyone should give above and beyond tithing. My point was just that for some people they have an issue with money, and that's their "thing" that they want to keep separate from their life with God. Sorry to keep apologizing---leading a small group is new for us, and it's presenting some challenges as far as keeping track of time, keeping everyone engaged, etc! So forgive me if I ever say anything that you may be offended by-it's not my heart! I am just trusting God that He is in control!
I hope that enjoyed yourself, and felt comfortable! Have a great week! Serena
Serena,
ReplyDeleteYou can text or call me anytime...
I thought you had my cell phone number.
And you are Golden in every way....
A Truly, Sweet and Beautifully Spiritual Soul Inside and Out.
And quit apologizing.... You have said nothing to offend me.
On the contrary, you have been incredibly patient and obliging in all our conversations.
If anything, I should be the one who is apologizing...
I've hammered you with "God and Religion" questions pretty hard but you've come responded in a Truly Christian Way.... and that is refreshing.
Can't come to this week's Share Group - will be out of town - but will try to make it on the 28th.
Till then - Much Respect and Thanks
William
