HEB Thin Cut Jalapeno Seasoned Chicken Breast in the foreground....
Ahi Tuna Steak in the background....
At this point, each has about 1-1/2 mins in a hot cast iron skillet WITH NO OIL!
I like to see the rawness disappear on the outside rim of the Tuna Steak which puts it at about Medium Rare throughout...
In the last minute of cooking, throw in a double handful of kale, a whole diced banana and a Bartlett pear...
Close-up of this mixture of greens and fruit!
Cooking the veggies with the fruit gives each a beautiful melding of flavors from the other - sweet, bitter, salty - YUMMY!
Take the tuna out and toss the kale - banana - pear mix for another minute and plate...
Add some fresh grapes, radishes, pistachios and sunflower seeds for color and texture and side with the Smoothie we just made!
